hayden panettiere's dad arrested

Hayden Panettiere’s Dad Arrested On Suspicion Of Spousal Assault | dailystab.com: "Hayden’s dad Alan Panettiere was arrested on suspicion of spousal assault, police confirmed to ET.

Alan Panettiere, 49, was taken into custody at around 3:00 a.m. in West Hollywood, according to a police booking report, which lists a bail amount of $50,000.

TMZ says Alan was upset because Lesley was “hanging” with someone at the event and he felt she was “disrespecting” him.

According to Lesley’s (Hayden’s mom) statement to Sheriffs, the couple went home, began arguing and he struck her in the cheek. Cops took pictures and there are visible marks.

Paramedics advised her she should go to the hospital but she refused. Alan did not give a statement to the police. It’s unclear if any of their kids were at the house at the time of the incident."

Maybe he should start hanging out with Lindsay Lohan's dad.

Here's pics of her from that event. Not the dad beating mom, event, the one where she did some sort of whale thing.

Swordman rescue didn't show up until the next day

JS Online: Swordsman's claim disputed: "But if Van Iveren was attempting to rescue what he thought was a woman in danger he was 'obnoxiously late,' said Stieghorst, who said he watched the movie between 1 and 2:30 a.m., but Van Iveren did not burst into his apartment until about 11:30 a.m.

Van Iveren told a reporter Tuesday that he distinctly heard a woman screaming while he was listening to music in his first floor apartment on the morning of Feb. 11. When the screams persisted over an extended period, he concluded that a rape was taking place in the apartment above his, so he decided to intervene, according to Van Iveren.

Van Iveren said he grabbed an heirloom sword, raced up a staircase to the apartment above him and kicked in the door, expecting to find a woman being raped. He said he left after the neighbor showed him that he was alone in the apartment."

Man hot for mannequins

Ronald Dotson has had impulses so strong that he'd break into stores to satisfy an attraction.

His subjects? Mannequins.

And now Dotson, 39, of Detroit will spend the next 18 months -- and as many as 30 years -- in prison after pleading no contest to attempting to break into a storefront to steal a female-shaped mannequin. It was his seventh attempt in 13 years.

"I thought I was getting my life together," he told Oakland County Circuit Judge Denise Langford Morris on Thursday, before she sent him to prison for attempted breaking and entering. "I've never been able to take care of myself."

Dotson, who is unemployed and lives with his parents in Detroit, was arrested in October by Ferndale police outside a shattered store window, just days after being paroled for his sixth offense. Inside the storefront stood a mannequin dressed in a black and white French maid's uniform.

He pleaded no contest earlier this month to attempted breaking and entering. A no contest plea is not a guilty plea but is treated as such for sentencing.

Langford Morris, in sentencing Dotson, noted that recent psychiatric exams show Dotson to be suffering from statuephilia, a relatively rare sexual fetish. Dotson, in prior incidences, has managed to steal the mannequins. In a 1993 case, Ferndale police discovered him in an alley behind a women's clothing store with three mannequins dressed in lingerie.

He has told police and doctors that he finds the mannequins erotic and sometimes can't control his impulses, court records show.

The judge said Dotson has never physically assaulted anybody, but that his activity, "strikes fear into the community." The condition requires "long-term treatment," she said, and ordered that he undergo treatment in prison.

A Department of Corrections spokesperson said Dotson could be eligible for individual therapy or be sent to a prison with a psychological ward.

Dotson's attorney, Edward Cohn, said his client "hasn't learned to behave in society." He added, "He wouldn't hurt anybody."

A sexual obsession with statues or mannequins is rare, experts say. "Usually the person is under-socialized, and has a very difficult time developing relationships with the opposite sex," said Dr. Robert Filewich, a clinical psychologist who treats sexual disorders at the Center for Behavioral Therapy in White Plains, N.Y.

Woman Fakes Being Lawyer to Get It On With Inmate

BALTIMORE - A 29-year-old woman allegedly forged documents and assumed the identity of an Annapolis attorney, apparently for the sole purpose of having sex with an inmate at a Baltimore prison.

"It was an elaborate scheme," said Maj. Priscilla Doggett, a spokeswoman for the prison system. "I'm not aware of something like this ever occurring before."

Police charged Tiffany Gwen Weaver, of Reisterstown with seven counts stemming from the alleged incident, including forgery, fraud, and false use of government identification. She faces up to 10 years in prison.

On Nov. 13, police allege in charging documents filed in Baltimore District Court, a woman appeared at the Maryland Reception, Diagnostic and Classification Center, claiming to be an attorney for inmate Jason Moody, who is serving 30 years for manslaughter. She had a Maryland State Bar Association Security Identification Pass with photo, identifying her as Amanda Sprehn of the Annapolis law firm Hyatt, Peters & Weber. She also gave jail officials a business card with Sprehn's name.

Once alone with Moody, the court documents allege, the two began engaging in sexual intercourse. Corrections officials assigned to monitor such visits for safety and security observed their behavior and cut the visit short.

Annapolis attorney Amanda Sprehn, the real Amanda Sprehn, told The Baltimore Examiner she was on leave when her firm received a letter banning her from the jail.

"I was out on maternity leave," she said. "They informed me they received a letter saying I had been caught having sex with an inmate — which was a real laugh."

"I haven't a clue how she got onto my identity," Sprehn said, adding that she has never represented Weaver. "I certainly feel like a victim. My reputation is at stake. There were already rumors circulating about me in Annapolis. My colleagues had to squash the rumors."

Prison investigators met with Sprehn's firm, and realized the business card and security pass were fakes. Further investigation led them to Weaver, authorities said.
