Woman jailed after disturbance at Whole Foods

Palo Alto Online : Woman jailed after disturbance at Whole Foods: "After taking off her underwear in Whole Foods Market in Palo Alto, a middle-aged woman was arrested early Friday.

Officers received a call around 8:30 a.m. that a woman was throwing bread and other items in the store, Palo Alto Police Sgt. Natasha Powers said.

'She was sitting and screaming,' Powers said.

The woman, who refused to identify herself, took off her underwear and might have thrown them at someone, but she did not hit anyone, Powers said.

'I know she took them off. I don't know what she did with them after that,' Powers said.

The woman was arrested on charges of assault and creating a disturbance and is currently in the San Jose Main Jail, Powers said."
