HYDERABAD: Teenagers in urban India may be increasingly getting into physical relationships that put them and their partners at grave health risks. A survey by a government agency has come up with some startling findings — one in 10 teenagers from affluent south Delhi families said they had lost their virginity. One in four boys who admitted having had sex reported their first intercourse before before the age of 13.

More alarmingly, over 50% of the sexually active teenagers said they had multiple sex partners and most did not use any form of protection.
